{"id":136,"date":"2012-02-09T02:20:32","date_gmt":"2012-02-09T09:20:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cr-foundation.org\/wordpress1\/?page_id=136"},"modified":"2024-01-31T17:35:10","modified_gmt":"2024-02-01T00:35:10","slug":"volunteer","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/cr-foundation.org\/wordpress1\/support\/volunteer\/","title":{"rendered":"Volunteer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Importance of Volunteers and what it takes to be a Volunteer at CRF<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-290 aligncenter\" title=\"Volunteer\" src=\"http:\/\/cr-foundation.org\/wordpress1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/clip_image002.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"228\" height=\"171\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<div align=\"left\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Every Volunteer working with CRF will receive the following at a quarterly volunteer training:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">the overall mission of the organization<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">the individual sub-mission of the project or program the volunteer will be supporting<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">a purpose statement for the volunteer program of the organization<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">staff list and a guide on who to contact for what<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">a list of the variety of ways people have volunteered with the organization<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">a written, detailed description of volunteer tasks<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">the volunteer\/staff handbook\/code of conduct\/policies, and guidelines on volunteer<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">reporting during assignments<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">any training manuals, as appropriate<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">newsletters and other info that is distributed to donors (as volunteers are ALSO donors), so the volunteer knows about upcoming events, the latest news of the org, etc.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">information during and after the assignment on how the volunteer&#8217;s contribution has benefited the organization and those it serves (VERY important!!!!!!!!!)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Updates about new volunteering opportunities, as they emerge<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Please find the information below as a guideline for you to begin the process in working the Child Rescue Foundation:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div align=\"left\"><\/div>\n<div align=\"left\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>HeArt auction Volunteer Outline<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Commitment length : weekly 5hours<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Sat or evenings meeting times meetings 1 per month until May- 2 per month minimum<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Contracts &#8211; Release of Liability and Commitment forms, background checks<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Purchasing &#8211; review of any items needed for the art auction, who will be purchasing and how to apply for items needed<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Reporting\/Reviews &#8211;
