WHO: The Child Rescue Foundation, Inc., (CRF) has a mission to provide financial aid to families and children impacted by trauma and violence. We continue to establish outreach and referral programs, immediate needs for children and families that provide a holistic approach to recovery for youth and families that have been impacted by violence.
WHAT: The USA Weekend newspaper annually sponsors a day for organizations and individuals to make a difference in the lives of others in their community. CRF, Inc. will be participating for the 3 rd year.
Goal: To collect in a three-hour period, 500 plush animals, 500 diapers and 500 blankets that day. We will provide snacks, tag, bags and delivery maps and locations. USA Weekend Newspaper will be covering this event live. Last year, over 3000 items came in and were delivered by 175 volunteers. Space is limited. All participants need to bring donations.
WHEN: Saturday, October ________from (10 a.m. –1 p.m.)

WHY: The teddy bears and plush animals that have been collected and tagged will be delivered to children in crisis will be delivered to children who have been impacted by violence, both at hospitals, shelters and with organizations that help children in need. If you have never done this before, it is a powerful and moving experience. Come be part of the magic. We are about, Kids Empowering Kids! Children of all ages and families welcome.
